Espresso Martini

Espresso Martini

  • 1½ oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • 1 oz Espresso shot
  • ½ oz Kahlúa®
  • ½ oz Toasted coconut syrup*
  • *Toasted coconut syrup
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Shredded coconut
  1. Shake all the ingredients vigorously. Double strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with coffee beans. Flavor with sugar to taste.
*Toasted coconut syrup
  1. Toast coconut in a pan on low heat until golden brown, being careful not to burn it. Add toasted coconut to a saucepan with sugar and water, and bring to boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, cool, and fine strain into an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 2 months.

Gran Conquistador

Gran Conquistador

  • 2 oz Don Q Gran Reserva rum
  • ½ oz Taylor Fladgate® 10-Year-Old Tawny port
  • 2 dashes Orange or walnut bitters
  • 1 Orange peel for garnish
  • 1 Cinnamon cookie for garnish
  1. In a mixing glass stir all ingredients with ice. Strain into rocks glass. Garnish with a cinnamon biscuit and orange zest.

Hot Buttered Rum

Hot Buttered Rum

  • 2 oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • 4 oz Hot water
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 splash Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Ground allspice
  • 1 stick Cinnamon for garnish
  1. Muddle the all spice, brown sugar, and butter in a glass mug. Add Don Q Reserva 7 and hot water. Stir. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Old San Juan Coffee

Old San Juan Coffee

  • 1½ oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • 3 oz Americano coffee
  • 2 cubes Sugar
  • 2 oz Whipping cream
  • 1 piece Chocolate for garnish
  1. In a hot glass cup, stir all the ingredients. Float the whipped cream on top. Garnish with fancy chocolate or coffee beans.
