Classic Mai Tai

  • 1½ oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • ½ oz Don Q 151˚ rum
  • ⅓ oz Fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz Orange curaçao
  • ½ oz Orgeat syrup
  • 1 sprig Mint leaves for garnish
  • 1 Luxardo maraschino cherry
  1. Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with a scoop of crushed ice. Shake. Pour into a glass without straining. Garnish with mint leaves and a Luxardo® maraschino cherry.

Elevated Piña Colada

Elevated Piña Colada

  • 2 oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • ⅓ oz Coconut cream
  • 2½ oz Pineapple juice
  • 1 dash Angostura® bitters
  1. Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain over crushed ice into a glass. Garnish with pineapple frond and an orchid.

Espresso Martini

Espresso Martini

  • 1½ oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • 1 oz Espresso shot
  • ½ oz Kahlúa®
  • ½ oz Toasted coconut syrup*
  • *Toasted coconut syrup
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Shredded coconut
  1. Shake all the ingredients vigorously. Double strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with coffee beans. Flavor with sugar to taste.
*Toasted coconut syrup
  1. Toast coconut in a pan on low heat until golden brown, being careful not to burn it. Add toasted coconut to a saucepan with sugar and water, and bring to boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, cool, and fine strain into an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 2 months.

Guavalicious

  • 1½ oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • 2 oz Guava juice
  • ⅓ oz Fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp Coco Lopez® Cream of Coconut
  1. Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with an edible flower and a piece of coconut shell.

Honey Breeze

Honey Breeze

  • 2 oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • ¼ oz Honey water
  • 2 oz Coconut water
  • 2 cm Cucumber
  1. Muddle cucumber into the bottom of a shaker. Add rum, honey water, coconut water and ice then, shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with cucumber.

Hot Buttered Rum

Hot Buttered Rum

  • 2 oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • 4 oz Hot water
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 splash Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Ground allspice
  • 1 stick Cinnamon for garnish
  1. Muddle the all spice, brown sugar, and butter in a glass mug. Add Don Q Reserva 7 and hot water. Stir. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Old San Juan Coffee

Old San Juan Coffee

  • 1½ oz Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • 3 oz Americano coffee
  • 2 cubes Sugar
  • 2 oz Whipping cream
  • 1 piece Chocolate for garnish
  1. In a hot glass cup, stir all the ingredients. Float the whipped cream on top. Garnish with fancy chocolate or coffee beans.

Bananas À La Don Q

Bananas À La Don Q

  • 1 stick Butter
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • ⅛ cup Cinnamon
  • 1 Pinch Nutmeg
  • 4 Bananas peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup Don Q Gold rum
  • ½ cup Don Q Reserva 7 rum
  • 1 cup Vanilla ice cream
  1. PROCEDURE: In a saucepan, melt butter with sugar. Add sliced bananas and stir in Don Q Gold Rum, cinnamon and nutmeg. Continue stirring over low heat until mixture thickens, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add the Don Q Reserva 7 rum while gently stirring. Simmer for about 2 minutes. Immediately serve over vanilla ice cream.
