Single Barrel Sazerac
Ingredients
  • 2½oz Don Q Signature Release Single Barrel, 2005 rum
  • ⅛oz Absinthe
  • ½oz Simple syrup*
  • 3dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • 1 Orange twistfor garnish
Instructions
  1. Add the rum, simple syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass that has been rinsed with absinthe. Garnish with an orange twist.
  2. *Simple syrup: Dissolve 8 oz. granulated sugar in 8 oz. hot water.
