Single Barrel Sazerac

Add the rum, simple syrup and bitters to a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass that has been rinsed with absinthe. Garnish with an orange twist.

*Simple syrup: Dissolve 8 oz. granulated sugar in 8 oz. hot water.
