Hot Buttered Rum
- 1 stick ...................................................... UNSALTED, SOFTENED BUTTER
- 2 cups...................................................... BROWN SUGAR
- 1 tsp. ...................................................... GROUND CINNAMON
- 1/2 tsp. ...................................................... GROUND NUTMEG
- Pinch ...................................................... GROUND CLOVES
- Pinch ...................................................... SALT
- 3 oz. ...................................................... DON Q AÑEJO
- 1 oz. ...................................................... BOILING WATER
The butter: In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Refrigerate until almost firm. The drink: Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the butter mixture into a mug. Fill the mug with the rum, and top with boiling water. Stir and enjoy!
