Hot Buttered Rum

  • 1 stick ...................................................... Unsalted, softened butter
  • 2 cups...................................................... Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp. ...................................................... Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ...................................................... Ground Nutmeg
  • Pinch ...................................................... Ground Cloves
  • Pinch ...................................................... Salt
  • 3 oz. ...................................................... Don Q Añejo
  • 1 oz. ...................................................... Boiling Water

The butter: In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Refrigerate until almost firm. The drink: Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the butter mixture into a mug. Fill the mug with the rum, and top with boiling water. Stir and enjoy!
